This book consists of letters from Poggius to his friend Nikolai, and describes in living detail, the trial and burning of Hus, one of the greatest reformers of history.  His pious life and witness during his trial and martyrdom convinced  many of the priests and church leaders of his innocence and the justice of his cause.
