This book shows the progress or lack thereof, of the gospel in Hungary from generation to generation. The light continued to shine-sometimes more brightly sometimes less brightly-from one generation to the next. In the midst of martyrdom and unimaginable misery that flowed from the well of Catholic ingenuity, one might expect the drowning of Protestant thought in Hungary but the opposite occurred.
