Scripture gives us many promises concerning the gift of the Holy Spirit as an abiding guest of the church and the direct agency in our personal deliverance from sin. It is to these promises that this book was written. The intent was to make practical the thoughts presented. To deal properly with the subject of the Holy Spirit one must necessarily deal with sin and point out some of the things which hinder the working of the Spirit in the transformation of the life. G.B.
