The majority of Christians today believe that when a person dies his/her soul is still alive. Upon death it enters either Heaven or hell. The Catholic Church also teaches that souls may go to “purgatory”. The foundation of these teachings is a belief that the soul is eternal/immortal. This book examines the scriptural passages used to support these unbiblical beliefs and refutes them by a careful examination of the language used and what the Bible really says concerning these unbiblical teachings.
