John Bunyan The Tinker of Bedford

John Bunyan wrote 60 books during his lifetime and was imprisoned for 12 years for refusing to obtain a “license” to preach.  During his imprisonment he wrote his famous Pilgrim’s Progress and other books.  Although not officially recognized by any denomination, he was one of the most powerful preachers of his generation.   William Deal PB 152 pg.
